The Talent Show

Clark gatherings are quite the event, already being 30 large and growing. Its amazing we all eat together. One of the evenings we just did pizza's and salads but we had a cousin talent show that was great!

Ellie and Avari cracked us up with their rendition of "The sun will come out tomorrow"
Gracie did a dance to "popular" from Wicked, and did a great job keeping eye contact with Misty the whole time.
Ava was a little nervous so she opted to keep her eyes closed while she sang.
Jayce did his ABC's beautifully
Crew sang a days of the week song in an ultra high voice ha.
Karis was to shy to perform by herself so she enlisted all the girls to do her dance with her.

Snowbasin

The Clark's have this GREAT tradition. After Christmas they get together for a few days up at the Condos in Eden and ski and hang out. This was my first time in attendance cause last year the Hawaii wedding took the place of the Christmas tradition.

This was our first time meeting this little guy. Mckay is a miracle in out family and we were so excited to meet him.
He is so sweet, and Nate had him laughing pretty hard.
Ellie quite enjoyed the Hot Chocolate

And Jayce's trucks ha ha

The New Progressive Dinner

I know, I know, I am way behind on postings. But December, honestly. Life never slows down. But here is my version.

Me and Nate anxiously awaiting the performance

It started out with the waltz of the squares ?

The Queens trumpeters (Tim and Chris)

The Queens storyteller. It was quite the production this year, thanks Lee for letting us see your magnificent club.

Cheescake Factory and New Shoes

Coleen had a lovely idea for us girls. Cheesecake and new shoes! So the girls who live close all went and had lunch at cheesecake which was wonderful and then headed over to Nordstrom for new shoes! It was fun trying on a bunch of shoes and Coleen insisted on not getting "conventional" shoes but fun ones. The only problem... Nordstom was fresh out of size 5 in ANY shoe. So I got new make-up instead:)

Lucy's troubles

This is silly but it makes me laugh. Lucy always steals Redfords chewys. She had not interest in toys or chewys until Redford came.
So she sole Redford's chewy and somehow it got stuck in her collar. It was really funny because both she and Redford were still trying to chew on it but Lucy was just helpless.

If you look closely you can see it dangling.

A&Z

As most of you know Nate's Dad and two uncles own a produce company. For Christmas they make fruit baskets for customers kind of as a "we appreciate your business" gesture. It's only for about 3 weeks in December and usually family or family friends make the fruit baskets. This was our second year doing it. It's fun cause its something Nate and I can do together and we just listen to Christmas music. However, this year was MUCH harder. Last year we only worked for a week and a half and probably only worked 80 hours combined. This year it was 3 weeks beginning during finals with a 13 hour day and 50 hours in 5 days schedule. Needless to say I'm not cut out for that.

Of course produce companies work the graveyard shift cause they have to have the food to the customers before the rest of the world waked up. Its says 1:00 a.m., we would either go in at midnight or 1
This is our work station, luckily its not in the coolers.

This is what we make

And this was a small day with only Nate and I working.

School days

As all of my family knows... I am a terrible time manager and stress case... especially with school. I think everything will take half the time it does and I stress out about things 2 weeks before I start them. So it is that lovely time of year again. Finals. I've been so depressed because I don't have time to get excited for Christmas and by the time I'm done with finals its two weeks away...

Well, this semester my major stresser has been my term paper in one particular class. Literally I have been researching and drafting for over a month and it's still not very good. But I've had plenty of company while I write. Our dogs will play for awhile then when they get tired they decide they want to sit on my lap. And of course if one dog is up on my lap, the other needs to be too. It's really cute but I stop feeling my legs after about 30 minutes. I love our dogs!

I <3 weddings

I love weddings! And Mark and Tiffani couldn't have had a more beautiful day to be married on. I'm sorry I'm such a horrid photographer. My pictures do the couple no justice, they both looked stunning.

Me and Nate (this pic turned out cause Brooke took it)

I <3 class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0">Minie
Especially her new trick. It is hilarious any kind of cup she tries to grab and drink. She's barely 5 months old that crazy girl.

Brooke, Kennan, and me were at the same table. So sad we weren't by Brad and Robyn.
Judikins, he's getting so big, and needless to say he was stoked about the chicken fingers

I think Tiffani's dream of having some kind of firework at her wedding was all of our dreams.... it was so romantic! (Doesn't my mom look cute?)

That was the tunnel we all made

Dustbin was on gathering the sparklers...nice job

L.A.

Our boat docked at 7 am and out flight didn't leave till 5 pm. So we booked a L.A. bus tour through the cruise line. It was actually a lot of fun. They took us to civic center LA, Hollywood, and the Farmers Market where I got to go in the American Girl Place... wow... it was a dream.

If you look closely, the Hollywood sign is behind us. Supposedly this was 'the spot' to take the Hollywood pic.

I know I make a great pair with this guardian dog.

Puerto Vallarta

We has a blast in Puerto Vallarta. Definitely my favorite stop. Like 40 of the people in the group did this same canopy excursion but it was a blast. We had some trouble getting their (we missed the tour bus) but some good old Mexican hitch hiking is never a bad thing.

Basically the canopy tour is a 12 station zip line. The highest being about 500 ft up and the longest about 400 yards. They harness you in and everything and its really pretty and kind of scary.

Nate on his way... he had some technique problems; sometimes he would stop completely before the end and have to peddle himself in.

Me and my perfect form.

The canopy tour place was awesome, there was a cafe (with excellent tacos) on the river bank, water slides into the river, and a petting zoo. This is one of the little monkeys.

Yes, a deer. I chose not to bet the disease ridden Mexican animal.
