One Year 4062

the salon had their 1 year anni

we officially kicked it off with a toast

at shiro restaurant/sugar lounge

needless to say

not our scene

but i just love my people so much

so we had to go

let's just say

i love that i am married, can eat sushi with this guy every night and not have to be entertaining 

:)

however

here is to a great first year

and an even better second 4062!!

half moon

one saturday these people woke up

and they needed some ocean in their life

so they made the beautiful drive to half moon bay for the evening

they played footsies on a blanket while they waited for dinner

and walked the sand with a crustacean

(okay they just watched it climb the rocks... 

in the putrid green water)

but they simply had a grand time

living in california definitely has its perks

i hope we do this more often mr clark :)

my layout has gotten all fishy. Anyone know how to fix it? When i edit my layout it looks right but it obviously is not. AND if you look at older posts, my layout is normal. I've tried picking new templates but it didn't work.

since i decided to have a semi-break down and try to leave my cheer job they were most accommodating in giving me some days off

Nate was dying to spoil these two's honeymoon

(unaware of this until we arrived at dinner)

but i loved me a little bit of this inspir-ation

the happy reunion with Nate's long lost childhood friend.

whatev... at least he was cool with my exuberant ordering of frozen fruit drinks

It has been a really tough past few weeks for me and thus nothing worth posting has happened. I've been just working A TON all hours of the day.

Now some people can do this. 

I'm not one of them.

So I am phasing out my cheer job. Which breaks my heart because I really do like it. I just can't do it all anymore . So that's the sum of my past few weeks.

Ohh... and I was so sick of what I saw in the mirror so I cut these...

Probably not the best move for someone who already looks 12 but hey I needed change and working in a salon easily facilitates this.

Now for my ranting... I don't know about you but I know what I need to do to be and feel happy. However, actually DOING those things is so hard. 

Isn't that bizarre? 

When I don't feel right I know what I SHOULD be doing. Keeping myself healthy physically by eating healthy and working out, spiritually by reading my scriptures and praying, and mentally by working and serving others. But it is so hard. The whole juggle for balance I dare say will be an eternal struggle and I am having a hard time trying to DO. But hopefully freeing a little of my time will help that :)

Anyway... maybe we'll do something out of the ordinary for Memorial Day and I'll have a real post.

But now my mom knows what my new hair looks like :)

We roamed the park beneath it in the evenings.

We found the best restaurant in Paris just down the street called Cafe Eiffel.

I adore Paris... really one of the most beautiful places in the world.

I like London. 

I don't love London. 

It's strange to me too since I love English history, literature, music, people, etc.  But that is my official statement for the city.

Having said that let's go on our tour.

And a little Victorian time... This is pretty much as close as Nate gets to that whole era.

The Orangery

I know... amazingly cute. 

I made a big deal about wanting to have tea at the Orangery (per recommendation from Mitch) 

So we held off on a normal lunch and caroused Hyde Park and all the Victorian charm of Kensington Palace and finally arrived at the Orangery. I was quite taken with the romance of the whole place.

Nate was not unupset that 'tea' wasn't lunch.
