Aidez-moi, s'il vous plait!

Um I haven't had my hair done since July.... it's a little desperate at the moment I wear hats everyday. So sisters and mom (and anyone else with an opinion) Do you like any of these for me?

A shaggy bob? Or Posh's short short bob?

The longer bob, kind of what my hair was going for last time...

Our a blunt cut with sweeping bangs? Here's what it was in July, do I just clean up my awful hair to this? Does it even look like the posh longer bob?

Now you should know I want to grow my hair back out so I probably will cute it shorter one more time or start the growing now... Is fall/winter the wrong time for short hair? And... any color suggestion... I think I've worn the blond look out of style. Or is everyone in agreeance that I look better blond?

So again... HELP ME PLEASE

Flag Football!

Some guy in our ward had been bugging Nate to come be on his flag football team. It's Utah's intramural flag football team so its free and up at school. It was really fun to go watch... Nate was a star. Not to mention the other team were like freshman and sophomore frat boys.

Just starting.. (Kyler and Nate)
This was the first catch I got a picture of... it would have been better but the ref wouldn't move. Nate is the one on the left. There's a ball in his hands.
He was even rockin it as QB... 3 defenders and a perfect spiral to Kyler for the touchdown.

Diving for the ball

Getting ready to throw a bullet..... seriously that a number 1 ranked husband dad.

"Take Your Place"

For the past couple years my Mom has had callings in the Stake Relief Society in a BYU stake. The past year she's been the president. So when she had her back to school fireside (Take your place) my sisters and I went to hear. It was such a wonderful experience... I love my mom and she really is an amazing women. Amazing public speaker. It was so cool to see her in her own sphere away from home. She looked so beautiful and perfect from that podium. I love you
Mom, thanks for letting us come hear you!

The lovely women of the fireside

Linda Switzler (Secretary), Ruby Zabriskie (2nd Counselor), Pam Williams (President), Susan Savage (1st Counselor)

It safe to say my parents are BYU people these days... My dad is in a bishopric and my mom in relief society.. their Sunday's are long

The Symphony

Nate had big plans this weekend of "guy time". He was planning on golfing or playing cards all Friday night with his brother or friends so kind of "pawned me off" on his mom. She invited us to go to the season opening of the Utah Symphony. Nat quickly declined due to his plans but offered me up. Of course I love the symphony so I didn't really complain. It was Andre Watt's and he performed Beethoven's 3rd Piano Concerto. I wasn't familiar with it but I fell in love with the 2nd movement! So beautiful!

Jayson and Julianne both came, Jayson didn't mind going.

Julianne, Coleen, and Me. I just love an excuse to dress up and go out with or without Nate!

Jayson, Julianne, and Coleen. I love this sculpture in Abravanel Hall and what a great shot with the temple in the back!

Our Grill!

I think Nate has wanted a grill since we've been married... however buying one around Christmas was impossible then once Spring arrived it seemed pointless to spend the money when we wouldn't use it all summer. So first thing we purchased when we got back was a grill. Lucky for us it's the end of the season so we got a way discounted floor model (which means we didn't have to assemble it). We LOVE our grill. We use it 3 out of the 5 times we cook each week.

Nate "the griller". I don't know how to turn it on so therefore don't try. I like it better that way anyhow... all I have to do is prepare the food!

Who knew.... plain old hot dogs are AMAZING
