When Brad Comes to Visit....

You explore more sites than you've seen living here for a month... You eat good food... You indulge in some type of sci-fi/fantasy... You hear about some mad B-ball...
I love my brother. I was thrilled he was in Indy on business, It was so nice to see family! Of course with Brad their are always a few un expected glitches but I found his company most enjoyable! One night we walked around down town Indy, this is the War Veterans memorial then the canal that is a very popular stroll for Indy Natives. ha it still baffles me that Brad will do more in his three days here than I can get Nate to do in our 1 month plus living here

My New Sweats!

What a wonderful surprise waking up to the UPS guy pounding on your door! The day was charmed... my lovely mother sent me some sweats which I adore(I've pretty much been wearing them ever since)! and.. later that day the Harry Potter box set I ordered arrived so what can be better? Comfy cute sweats and some good books? I guess being in Utah is all that can top it off
In Indianapolis this thing called "Eyes By India" is big. Basically it in India the way in which they remove hair is by a process called threading. All it is is cotton thread that they twist and hold one end in their mouth and the other in their hand and they proceed to wrap your hair around the string then it pulls it out. I had seen the store/kiosk is two different malls and was finally brave enough do it. Supposedly it last two weeks longer than waxing, is better for your skin, and was only 7 bucks for both eyes! Hurt like crazy... and was definitely not as fast as waxing.. it's amazing though, they get all the little blond hairs.
I know... beautiful eyes without make up

INDY 500

So when Nate's office decided to go to Indianapolis I had no idea what was in Indianapolis... when I asked around the Indy 500 is all people could come up with. Of course we couldn't miss out on something like this! So Sunday we went... it was fun, 300,000 white trash people.. including us we were the only ones there with a 3 month old baby. It started raining after 30 min of us being there and they don't race on a wet track so we left.
