San Francisco....

We forget we live so close to the beautiful city ALL the time.
Really 45 measly minutes and we never make the trek.
Unless someone from out of town comes then we decide to go.
And why? Because I <3>
But we did go in a few weeks ago when Nate had some acquaintances out for a work opportunity.

I never did mention that Nate got me my lovely SLR camera for Valentines?
Yep... love him and the photos it takes

It was a gorgeous day... and makes you remember why you love to live in the bay area

Our only picture with miss golden gate since we've lived here.

Nate's boys....

Love you city! I'm going to try visit you more!

The Happy Moments

So very long ago these were taken but we look so happy in these pictures I need them to perk up my blog.
So belly was just barely 28 weeks in below photos and I am now 35 weeks (yikes)
BUT
Here is a quick update on our life the last few weeks.

Waiting. Frustrated. Excited. Anxious. Stressed. Waiting.

Those words sum it up for me. I know I had a very self-pitying no house post a few weeks ago AND we are now officially going to be remaining where we are for the time being. This final decision being made earlier this week and I now am feeling very good about this.
BUT 2 potential job paths for Nate; 2 offers on 2 beautiful houses; the delivery of my crib, stroller, and car seat (to my living room); and a new storage space has left me a little emotional and drained the last few weeks. I have come to realize you are not in control of your life and that that is okay and; one must be patient. This seems to be a lesson my Heavenly Father has deemed very important for me. I seem to recall a similar situation when Nate and I first were married. In my mind things are supposed to be a certain way and are supposed to go the way I have planned. I always thought I would have a house when I had a baby. Re-wiring my brain has been a little difficult but I think I am finally there. Yesterday was spent moving the unwanted furniture out and shuffling the wanted furniture around to make room for baby.
I feel 110% better already.
Just thought you should know :)

Valley Shower

I love these three ladies.
They are like family to me out here in California. They are somewhere between surrogate sisters and surrogate moms. Always a listening ear when I need one and ever supportive of whatever I do.
In particular, having a baby!
You would think most employers would be excited for you to have a baby but also be looking for your replacement quickly. Not the case, these ladies have pretty much told me they're opening a Valley Day Care for Brig so I can still work :)
Anyway... they all three are VERY busy women who so generously made time to do this for me.

They had offered to throw me a shower a few months ago and I, of course, was thrilled. This last Saturday they pulled out all the stops... beautiful decor, delicious Italian food, fun games, ALL my cheerleaders and their moms, and plenty of loot for B!

Me and Coach Nina
Nina is one of my "assistant coaches" but only because she doesn't have time to have her own team. But her help is ALWAYS needed and MUCH appreciated.

All my girls!

AND their Moms!

Baby B got some great gifts, I even had one of my girls make him this quilt!

Happy Mom and Dad!
Thank you Valley for this wonderful gift... I will never forget how I felt Saturday... you guys are truly the best!
