Little update...

Well bored Sunday night so I thought I might give a little update on my life and some of my thoughts these past few weeks....
As those who know me know, I've always been a planner and I don't work really well with out one. In my life plan I've come across some gaping holes. Plan was... work hard in high school so I can get ahead in college, graduate early so I can move on to bigger and better things, children after 5 years... you can probably see the holes. Pretty much I've graduated and have nothing "bigger and better" to move on to and I am NOT ready to have babies. So I thought after graduating I would work, make some mulah, and take a break from school. Turns out looking for a job sucks.... especially when your not sure what you want to do and you don't want to work some crap job. So these are my frustrating thoughts and here is my new plan...

I at least have a job now.... it is nothing great and big but I am a receptionist at a really nice hair salon pretty close to my house. It is way easy and doesn't take a lot of thought... but I like the people I work with, I like dressing up everyday, and I get free hair!
Secondly, I have another job teaching/coaching tumbling and cheer. This job I am more excited about. It is a brand new all star gym not open yet and I have a lot of ideas and things I can do to help this gym succeed. Apparently, all star cheerleading isn't super popular yet in the east bay and the three ladies opening the gym really think there is great market in the area. So that will be fun but it is just starting up so it won't be full blown till September.
But maybe I'll have a team that can do this :)

And lastly... teaching has always been plan B in my ultimate career and after not being able to find something to be my 'career' I've decided to go back to school and get my MA in education. University of Phoenix has a 18 month program that really isn't that expensive and bundles a CA teaching credential with the MA. So Nate's cool with supporting the two of us if I can pay for my degree and that is the new plan!

Ah.. life

It never turns out quite as planned...does it? I think that's awesome you're going back to school. You're so ambitious, and you get everything done so fast! You'll have your MA before I have my Bachelors, probably. Both your jobs are cool! I would love to be a receptionist at a hair salon and get free service. That's so sweet. Those jobs will be perfect while you're going to school. GOOD LUCK!

Sweet...you updated! Haven't you heard...life is what happens when you are making plans! :) Sweet girly, you need to make the journey what it's all about. Enjoy where you are at! Life will change substantially without you even noticing and then you will say, "Why didn't I enjoy that while I could?" BUT...I know better than anyone that you NEED a plan, so YOU GO GIRL!! XOXOXO
