Mazatlan

I think the cruise comedian pinned it right on the nose when in his routine he said we should have just cruised past Mazatlan and on to Puerta Vallarta. It wasn't a really pretty place. But we had a very funny time. We had decided to rent scooters before we got off the ship, but Nate saw this and thought it a better idea.

It wasn't till he filled out the forms that he realized it was a golf cart.

Needless to say we were pretty much hysterical driving through town in this at a whomping 25 mph.

We drove to the beach and rented a jet ski for a half-hour, it was a blast except Nate didn't bring his swimsuit and on our return to the beach a wave got the better of him and he was fully immersed.

After our beach experience we decided to have a seafood feast; lobster and 4 variations of shrimp. It was fun, but very par... the lobster itself was Mexican and all prickly looking.
After lunch we cruised around town and found this awesome lookout area so here is one angle

And here is the other

Hey! I went to Mazatlan on my honeymoon! But yeah, not the prettiest place outside our hotel. But that last picture of the pininsula.... we went on this lame boat tour there. It was on a way too crowded little paddleboat, and they pointed out things like that giant rock in the second to last picture. It had some fancy name I can't remember. And then they dropped us on an island and we had to ride in a trailor pulled by a tractor and then sit on a beach for 3 hours till they took us back. Anyway, yeah, never go to Mazatlan for more than a day. hehe Looks like you had fun though!
