We did it!

Graduation....
Honestly, I can't believe it's over at this point. I mean school is a drag but I did love it and I find myself a bit melancholy it's over. The day was perfects though and I can't tell all of you who came and supported us, called, and sent notes how much it means to me. Thank you thank you for your love and support; it seems to qualify for me my education.


Having said a bit about that.... the morning started off a little rough when we arrived at the U and I realized I'd forgotten our caps... oops. So Nate ran home and got them showing up about 15 min late. I love you baby!


Me and Lindsey. She's has the same major as me and we became good friends by the time we finished out degrees. She kind of amazing too... married, has a 2 year old, husband in medical school, finishing her BA in history, oh and her husbands also in the bishopric. Yeah, I know.

The Graduates! Although Nate graduated in the fall in economics and he's not all about the fan fare he kindly waited for me to finish and did me the honor of walking with me in my college. Thank you honey, it was a great photo op.

My whole family. This picture makes me emotional. It is so great to have a big family who loves and supports you in everything you do. I love ALL of you!!!

And as an end note.... my Mom's best friend Jeannie Hodges (sp?) had her daughter in law graduate the same day and somehow they sat right behind JayDee and Coleen. Coleen overheard her saying my name and they made the connection. So we met up afterwards and congratulated one another. Really quite funny though

Disney Land!

I will preface with the fact that I suck at taking pictures... I get so lazy about pulling my camera out. Having said that.... the Clark family trip to Disney Land was this last week. It was AMAZING. This was our Christmas present from Nate's parents and I have to say they way out did themselves. A four day trip for 34 to Disney Land is a feat by any ones standards. We stayed in the amazing Grand Californian with park access and it couldn't have been more fun. It was a little hectic at times with 34 of us but it was so nice to spend time and get to know everyone a little better.

With the 5 day park hopper pass you get one 'magic morning' where you get to go to the park an hour before it opens. Finding Nemo was our first ride that day of which we still waited in line for 45 minutes
Toon town break... notice they are all eating suckers? Well... I'm a sucker for sweets so I bought my self a little pack of Mickey pops. To make a long story short I wound up making several stops to the shop to supply the kids with pops as well. It was quite funny and made for an excellent photo op

And here's the pic.. I somehow forgot you get the most wet in the front and Jules conned me into sitting up front. So I tried to avoid the tidal wave created by having three Clark boys in our log by covering my head with my coat. Needless to say it didn't work.

Each night we all ate dinner together (sometimes lunch too) but one of the nights we did Goofy's Kitchen, which is a character dinner. It was so fun though! It was actually quite a good buffet with plenty of kid food and the characters come around to chat!

The last night everyone was there some how a 'girls night' got organized. So all the kiddies were left with their daddies and us girls hit up the parks. It was a lot of fun, I mean face it 8 girls out at once. Anyway... apparently some of the Clark women really needed the night out cause we began at 8:00 and I thought we'd for sure be done at 10:00 so Nate met up with me at 10:00 but Cass, Jules, Nat, Sis, Jannie, and Misty all stayed out till midnight doing splash mountain and pirates. Way to got ladies

Beee's Game

Yes it is the busiest time of year for me... FINALS and this is the only picture I have taken in about three weeks so that's another excuse for not blogging. But, a lot has happened en lieu of plans. Nate has decided to take a job in the Bay area so we will be moving to California in the end of May. However, because he has been planning to go manage an office for this summer sales stuff he is still going to go to San Antonio for about three weeks to sell. I've opted to not go seeing as three weeks in San Antonio by myself while I should be packing sounds horrible I'm going to stay her in Utah move in with my parents and pack our stuff until he gets back to move it. SO that's the new plans in our life... see we really are growing up.

The Bee's game though has been our first 'date' in a LONG time cause we've been so busy! It was so much fun beautiful weather, delicious food, and turns out the Bee's have this awesome record. It makes me so excited for an actual summer! Nate and I are yet to have a real summer together and now that he's not selling, this summer will be REAL.

They figured it out

Saturday Nate's friend Steve Dummit got married. And they figured it out. They had a very nice luncheon that lasted two hours. Can you believe it? Well it truly did and it was so nice. Short and sweet program then the couple sad good-bye to everyone at the door. If I did it over again... this would be how I would do it. Congratulations Steve and Marianne!

The Park!

Now I'm sure every body loves where they had their wedding. But I ADORE where mine was held. Memory Grove has to be one of my favorite parks every... it is gorgeous. One good thing about living in a city is that there are beautiful parks. It makes me never want to move from the city. Well when it started thinking about getting warm I decided it was time to go to the park and what better excuse is there than dogs?

My poor dogs have been locked up all winter and not having a yard really cuts into their exercise. They can only run up and down the stair so much you know?


Madame Lucy LOVES the park. The other great thing about city parks is that they are dog friendly and full of dogs. Which is why Lucy loves the park; she loves dogs -- people not so much.

Parks are a new experience for Red since he's only been with us since October. He loves the smells and exploring but he's terrified of other dogs. It so funny, he runs away crying.

The delicious food

I've heard a lot about Nate's mission but probably more than anything I've heard about the food on his mission. Ha no not really but I've heard a lot about the food. SO there are 3 of Nate's favorites and they are 1) Chris Madrid's 2)Queers 3) Rudy's

Chris Madrid's has THE best jalapeño burger ever. They are HUGE and the cheese is extra amazing, Nate claims they like have a copyright or something on the cheese.

It was also a big spot for the missionaries so on the wall of Chris Madrid's is this shirt and tie with the missionaries that have eaten there on it.(His name is right next to his head)

At a little hamburger joint in the neighboring city to Carrizo, Crystal Hills, you find Queers. They are soft served ice cream with icee on top. Ingenious.

Great risks have been taken for these before and I now understand why

Rudy's. As most people know barbecue is a big deal in Texas. This was always Nate's favorite.
